Did the new Mazda 6 met the expectations?

Contrary to the expectations of many drivers, the new Mazda 6 was not the Japanese variant of Ford Mondeo. We have not performed comparative tests; information of the manufacturer and their own feelings were enough to understand that they went their own, Japanese way.

Does the Mazda 6 look better? Of course, at least on the outside! Japanese designers are confident that it has finally become spectacular and magnificent. It has the design of the East philosophy and culture in each of the items. Powerful front, resembling a fish-hammer, and the previously found expression in "the face" of the Mazda RX-8 and CX-7 – it is not surprising that it is a project of a single designer. Wide rounded arches and optical devices filled with detail attract attention. The previous sedan Mazda was just a car, not outrageous. The new look of Mazda 6 is an aesthetic step, no leap forward.
The interior is much improved in terms of functionality and a little bit stylistically. Gray-black steering wheel with control buttons is a detail familiar from other Japanese. Stylish appliances with informative content are highlighted in orange. And a narrow strip on-Board computer
is not easy to get used if only you did not have before Mazda. It's too inconvenient, especially if you do not have time to get used to the intricacies of the system control trip computer CF-Net — self-designed by Mazda. A few keys on the steering wheel allow you to control all electronics services.
